**Job Title: Medical Device Manufacturing Technician** Job Description Join our team as a Medical Device Manufacturing Technician, where you will be responsible for the precise assembly of medical devices, including catheter assembly under a microscope. This role involves adhering to rigorous standards and procedures to ensure product quality and integrity. Responsibilities + Follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Line Clearance, Work Instructions, assembly methods, product handling methods, production drawings, Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety requirements. + Successfully complete training on production tasks. Understand travelers/routers, how to identify materials, use a microscope, and use production/inspection tools and equipment needed for product builds. + Operate tools & equipment, and complete documentation as required. + Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to accomplish assigned tasks. + Work directly with Engineers/Supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality is met at all times. + Collaborate with Engineers to develop process documentation. + Conduct inventory counts. + Perform other duties as assigned, following verbal instructions. Essential Skills + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical device assembly and production or small electronics. + Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment, or prototyping experience. + Prior experience in microscope and medical assembly. + Prior cleanroom experience. + Understanding and performing in-process inspection to assure workmanship and quality of in-process medical devices. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Manufacturing of catheter products is a plus. + Experience working with adhesives, specifically different types of Loctite. + Experience with EFD dispensers and UV curing systems. + Proficient communication skills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
