Job Title: Mechanical Assembler - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler where you will be instrumental in building large cooling units. This role requires comfort with hand and power tools, and involves metal framing, copper tubing, and drilling. Your ability to read and follow directions from leads or diagrams is essential, and hands-on training will be provided. You will utilize manual lifting devices for heavy lifting and perform standardized assembly operations, ensuring each component is assembled correctly according to visual aids.

Responsibilities

Build large cooling units using hand and power tools.Work with metal framing and copper tubing, including drilling holes.Perform piping and metal tubing tasks.Read and follow directions from leads or diagrams.

Essential Skills

Comfort with hand and power tools.Basic mechanical aptitude.Ability to read and understand visual aids, graphs, and diagrams.Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to follow directions accurately.

Work Environment

The work environment is an extremely clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing site with the potential to grow into a 3 million sqft campus. Steel toe shoes are required for safety. The 2nd shift operates from 3:30 PM to 12 AM, with opportunities for overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.32 - $23.32/hr.
