Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for handling cargo and freight, ensuring efficient loading and unloading processes, and maintaining the cleanliness and security of the work areas. Your role will include the transportation of cargo between terminals and aircraft, facilitating ramp transfers, and performing routine cleaning tasks with or without powered equipment. You will also be tasked with building up cargo for outbound flights and breaking down cargo from import flights, as well as ensuring proper documentation and physical handling of freight.

ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload cargo from aircraft, pallets, and containers.Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft.Facilitate ramp transfers of cargo as required.Receive, deliver, and physically handle freight and company material.Complete necessary forms and messages related to cargo handling.Perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities.Comply with site security procedures for warehouse operations.Build up cargo for outbound flights.Break down cargo from import flights.Facilitate loading and unloading of cargo to and from semi-trucks.Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions, and necessary documents.Essential SkillsValid driver's license.Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.Ability to work in a high-noise level environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and days off.Ability to successfully communicate with others.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The warehouse environment is open and collaborative, requiring comfort in working around teams with close supervision. Shift patterns may change every three months, offering varied working hours such as 1pm - 9:30pm, 8am - 4:30pm, 11am - 7:30pm, 7pm - 3:30am, and 11pm - 7:30am. Be ready to handle physical tasks and adapt to high noise levels while maintaining productivity.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
