Job Description
As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for utilizing an electric pallet jack to efficiently unload trucks. You will ensure incoming products are received in accordance with warehouse management system processes, accurately identify and break down materials, note discrepancies, and prepare products for storage. Additionally, you will conduct cycle counts, verify bin locations, consolidate inventory as needed, and pick orders.
ResponsibilitiesUtilize an electric pallet jack to unload trucks.Receive and process incoming products according to warehouse management system protocols.Identify and break down materials accurately, noting any discrepancies.Prepare products for storage and conduct cycle counts.Verify bin locations and consolidate inventory as necessary.Assist with order picking and packing.Essential SkillsProficiency in using a cherry picker and RF scan gun.Experience in order picking, receiving, packing, stocking, and material handling.Pallet jack operation skills.Attention to detail for accurate product acceptance and discrepancy noting.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with stand-up and sit-down forklifts is advantageous.Ability to work effectively in a large distribution/warehouse environment.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment consists of a large distribution/warehouse setting, working alongside a team of approximately 10 people. The hours are from 7 am to 4 pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break and two paid 15-minute breaks. Safety attire includes steel-toed boots that extend above the ankle, pants without holes or frays, and shirts with sleeves, such as t-shirts, long sleeves, or sweatshirts.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
