Job Description
The Warehouse Worker plays a critical role in managing and handling cargo efficiently within the warehouse environment. This includes loading and unloading cargo, transporting cargo between terminals and aircraft, and ensuring accurate documentation for freight handling.
ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload cargo, including mail, express, freight, and company material, on and off aircraft.Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft.Perform ramp transfers of cargo as required.Receive, deliver, and physically handle freight and company material at designated docks.Complete forms and messages necessary for cargo handling functions.Perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities with or without powered equipment.Comply with site security procedures for assigned warehouse and other operations.Build up cargo for outbound flights and break down cargo from import flights.Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from semi-trucks.Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions, and documents as appropriate.Essential SkillsValid driver's license.Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.Ability to work in a high-noise level environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and days off.Ability to successfully communicate with others.Experience with inventory management and use of RF scanner.Proficiency in operating a pallet jack.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position involves working in an open warehouse setting, requiring comfort with team collaboration and close supervision. Physical tasks include lifting and moving products. Shift schedules change every 3 months, with various shifts available, including daytime and nighttime hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
