**Job Title: Machine Operator** Job Description As a sandblaster, your primary role will be to remove paint, rust, and other material build-ups from rough surfaces using specialized equipment that sprays abrasive materials. This process involves using a mixture of coarse sand and compressed air, which is forced through a hose at high pressure to smooth or clean surfaces. You may work with parts of varying sizes, processing between 15-20 parts per hour or up to 70-90 parts per hour. Additionally, you will utilize a Microvu, an electronic microscope, to take precise measurements and ensure the quality of parts. Responsibilities + Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and smooth surfaces. + Use a Microvu to measure and verify the quality of parts. + Maintain attention to detail and ensure high-quality output. + Perform repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately. + Collaborate with a team while maintaining individual work responsibilities. Essential Skills + Production experience + General labor and inspection skills + Machine operation proficiency + Attention to detail + Hand dexterity Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with packaging, packing, and assembly line work + Familiarity with working with small parts and tools such as tweezers + Willingness to learn and adapt Why Work Here? You will be part of a team of approximately 10 people, working at your own desk or work station. The dress code requires closed-toed shoes, jeans or pants, and a t-shirt or long sleeve shirt. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
