Hiring for Diesel Mechanic in Greer, SC pay up to $32/hr.

Job Description

Join our team as a Diesel Mechanic, where you will be responsible for running diagnostic tests on diesel engines, interpreting the results, and offering suitable solutions. You will inspect vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering, and exhausts, and repair or replace vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other associated parts. Conduct field visits in case of emergencies or sudden breakdowns and test drive repaired vehicles to gauge their performance. Additionally, you will complete oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks while maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled shop equipped with fans to help keep it cooler. The shop features multiple bay doors for trucks to enter for repair.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
