Our client in Plano, TX is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to join their team. As an Associate Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams including Production, Automation, Sales, Project Management, and Quality. This entry-level role is designed for recent graduates who are eager to develop technical expertise in systems integration. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
**Job Title: Junior Systems Engineer (Entry-Level)**
**Location: Plano, TX**
**Pay Range: Starting at $80,000 annually (Exempt, Full-Time)**
**Schedule: Full-time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, Day Shift**

**What’s the Job?**
• Assist with system builds by configuring, assembling, and documenting First Article (FA) units.
• Support system testing activities, including developing and executing test plans to validate performance.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of configurations, integration activities, and test results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Project Management, Automation, Quality, Production) to support integration efforts.
• Assist in troubleshooting hardware/software issues and escalate to senior engineers when needed.
• Help manage customer branding requirements (logos, decals, labels) and facilitate design approvals.
• Provide deployment support alongside production and field engineering teams.
• Contribute ideas for improving integration processes, documentation, and efficiency.
**What’s Needed?**
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Foundational knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and networking.
• Strong problem-solving ability and interest in hands-on system integration.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• High attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies or challenges.
• Familiarity with IT rack infrastructure (power, cabling, networking), virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware), or prior internship/project experience is preferred but not required.
