Job Responsibilities:

Associate’s degree in Health Information Management by AHIMA or health-related field preferred, or a minimum five years’ comparable experience in a hospital-related setting in health information release. Minimum Work ExperienceCredentialed or five years of experience in health information management in a related setting. Required SkillsMust possess excellent oral, written, and computer skills for accessing electronic patient records, ROI, and disclosure tracking.Must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and critical-thinking skills. Must possess excellent computer skills in accessing patient records, maintaining and updating computerized ROI tracking system either through experience or dedicated education. The individual must learn and be proficient in the network EPIC EHR applications within the first 90 days of starting the position.
