HIM Technician
The HIM Technician is responsible for preparing and scanning documents for the medical record at LifeBridge Health, ensuring the accuracy and quality of all scanned materials. This role involves prioritizing tasks to meet departmental goals, locating data, and identifying patient encounters within our electronic medical record system. The HIM Technician also identifies errors, initiates corrections, and communicates with leadership. Additionally, the technician maintains scanning equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain productivity and quality standards in alignment with departmental guidelines, submitting reports weekly.

Foster strong relationships with patients, families, coworkers, and physicians, demonstrating teamwork and cooperation to create a positive, unified work environment.

Perform duties in alignment with the department's and hospital's Mission and Vision statements.

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
