Job Description
The assembler will be responsible for assembling and piecing together parts, components, and sub-assemblies to produce commercial and industrial electrical units. You will receive daily work instructions from the lead and work closely with the engineering team to understand assembly requirements.
ResponsibilitiesPosition, gather, and arrange parts for proper assembly, verifying fit and tolerances.Work independently in your own work area, performing assembly from start to finish using hand and power tools.Interpret work instructions, designs, and schematics.Mount assembled components such as transformers, panel boards, capacitors, circuit breakers, and switches in cabinets.Assemble and fabricate sheet metal parts.Handle units that can vary in size, such as 7 feet tall by 6 feet wide.Essential SkillsProficiency in assembly, hand tools, and power tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with torque tools.Minimum of 1 year of assembly experience in a commercial or industrial setting.Capability to work independently.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitude.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Comfortable standing for the whole shift and performing physical tasks such as kneeling and bending.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a smaller shop with around 10-15 employees. The environment allows the use of one headphone and is not temperature-controlled, which may result in warmer conditions during the summer. Be prepared for strong paint fumes, and steel-toed boots are required. Work hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM on the first shift, with the possibility of voluntary overtime of up to one hour per day.
