**Position Summary**
The Consolidation Lead will oversee a team that performs specialized tasks, such as reviewing, tracking, and forecasting client-level financial requests and liabilities, and maintaining appropriate reserves. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, delivering data-driven insights, and driving strategic financial initiatives that align with business goals.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead and manage a team performing specialized operational and analytical tasks that include reviewing client-level financial requests and liabilities, and setting appropriate reserves.
+ Ensure timely and high-quality execution of financial responsibilities across assigned functions.
+ Provide support in monthly/quarterly financial closing activity in close co-ordination with business and finance teams.
+ Partner with business leaders to deliver actionable insights that inform investment and resource allocation decisions.
+ Conduct variance analysis, performance tracking, and financial reporting to support transparency and accountability.
+ Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and scenario analyses to support strategic planning.
+ Identify and implement process optimization strategies while maintaining operational stability.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align team objectives with broader business goals.
+ Mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and analytical excellence.
**Recommended Qualifications**
**Education & Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)
+ 13 – 16 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, business operations, or a related field.
+ 3+ years of experience in a leadership or team management role.
**Skills & Competencies:**
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
+ Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning.
+ Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive strategic outcomes.
+ Proven ability to lead teams effectively without requiring deep subject matter expertise.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
