Accounting Senior Analyst
Position Overview
In collaboration with our US, UK, India and Ireland based finance stakeholders, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong Accounting Analyst to join our Ireland finance team. This role, based in India, will support our operations in Ireland, requiring a strong understanding of Irish accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly financials, tracking costs, supporting audits, and ensuring accurate tax reporting in line with Irish laws. The role will have dual reporting responsibilities, reporting directly into the International accounting leadership, with a dotted line report into the finance lead in Ireland and the EGSS team based in the United States. The role will be physically located in Hyderabad.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Irish GAAP.Ensure timely and accurate statutory and management reporting for Irish entities.Cost Tracking & Analysis:
Monitor and analyze operational and overhead costs.Provide variance analysis and cost insights to support budgeting and forecasting.Tax Compliance:
Assist in the preparation and submission of Irish VAT, corporate tax, and payroll tax filings.Liaise with tax advisors and internal teams to ensure compliance with Irish tax laws.General Accounting:
Maintain general ledger accuracy and perform reconciliations.Support month-end and year-end close processes.Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations.Audit & Controls:
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries.Ensure adherence to SOX controls and internal financial policies.Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting efficiency.Support automation initiatives and ERP enhancements.Qualifications
Experience/Knowledge, Education and Other Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.3–6 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, preferably supporting international entities.Strong knowledge of Irish accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.Experience with VAT, corporate tax, and payroll tax in Ireland is highly desirable.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).Strong Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Personal Competencies Required:
