This position is located at Central Office and may have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.
This position coordinates MnDOT’s Highway Sponsorship Program, which engages public, private, and nonprofit organizations to enhance highway roadsides across Minnesota. The position oversees project intake, documentation, and internal review with MnDOT districts and functional units. The position works with sponsors over the life of each sponsorship to manage communication, compliance, and recordkeeping. The position also supports outreach, partnership development, and alignment with related programs, including Art on the Highway, to grow sponsorship opportunities statewide.
Statewide travel is required for up to 5% of the time; this includes some overnight travel.

**Minimum Qualifications**
**Three years of professional experience demonstrating the following:**
+ **Experience coordinating projects or programs in land management, property management, real estate, right-of-way use, transportation, or a closely related field, and**
+ **Experience applying policies, procedures, regulations, or agreement terms to guide decisions and support consistent outcomes, and**
+ **Experience communicating with external partners and building effective working relationships, including explaining program requirements and processes.**
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ **Experience working with highway right-of-way use, property management, or roadside management activities.**
+ **Experience providing project leadership or coordination, including collaborating with diverse partners such as local governments, nonprofits, community organizations, or private partners.**
+ **Experience using GIS, mapping, or data visualization tools to support planning, analysis, or communication.**
