High School Math Instructor
Job ID: 5398729 Position Overview: CAM Jr./Sr. High School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered educator to teach 7th–8th grade Mathematics, 9th grade Algebra I and Financial Literacy. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment that supports student growth in problem-solving, critical thinking, and real-world financial skills. Responsibilities: + Teach middle school math courses (7th–9th grade) and high school Financial Literacy. + Develop and implement engaging lessons aligned with state standards and district curriculum. + Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback. + Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and school initiatives. + Create a classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and academic success. + Participate in professional development and contribute to the school community. Qualifications: + Valid Iowa Teaching License (or ability to obtain one) with appropriate Math endorsement. + Endorsement or willingness to obtain certification for Financial Literacy. + Strong communication and collaboration skills. + Commitment to positive relationships with students, families, and staff. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience teaching middle school mathematics. + Knowledge of current instructional technology and strategies for differentiated learning. + Enthusiasm for connecting mathematical concepts to financial literacy and real-world applications. Position Type: Full-Time, 9-Month Contract Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary and full benefits per the CAM Community School District Master Agreement.
