Qualifications

 

Experience / Requirements / Qualifications:

 

Holds a current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse within ORMinimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Hemodialysis Staff RN in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or other relevant certifications may be preferredMust possess an active BLS CPR Certification (American Heart Association preferred)Strong clinical assessment, IV insertion, medication administration, and emergency response skills Understanding of renal physiology, the causes and progression of kidney disease, and the principles of hemodialysisPrevious experience working in a correctional facility, familiarity with security protocols and proceduresAbility to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential informationIntegrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirementsMust pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening
