Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program Director - Physician - Mount Sinai Tisch Cancer Center - Manhattan, NY
**Job Description** Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) and the Mount Sinai Tisch Cancer Center—an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center—seek an accomplished physician-educator and academic leader to serve as Program Director of the ACGME-accredited Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program. This is a senior academic leadership role with ACGME-required protected time and strong institutional support, responsible for the educational, administrative, and accreditation oversight of a large, nationally recognized fellowship program comprising 24 total fellows. Clinical responsibilities will be tailored to the candidate’s expertise and interests within hematology and/or medical oncology. The fellowship is distinguished by innovative and flexible training pathways, including participation in the ASCO AIRE Pilot Integrated Hematology/Oncology and Hospice and Palliative Medicine Program, structured opportunities for senior fellows to pursue individualized clinical tracks aligned with their career goals, and a distinct advanced fellowship in Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy, providing training in transplantation and novel cellular therapies. **Qualifications** + MD or MD/PhD with board certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology + Eligible for or licensed to practice medicine in New York State + Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, graduate medical education, and mentorship + Minimum of three years of fellowship or residency leadership experience (e.g., Associate Program Director or equivalent) + Strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills + Academic appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, commensurate with experience Compensation range from Days 325k to 425k (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits). **Salary Disclosure Information:** Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.
