Help Desk Technician

Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a Help Desk Technician to join their team. As a Help Desk Technician, you will be part of the IT department supporting end users in achieving their business tasks. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Help Desk Technician
**Location:** Clackamas, OR
**Pay Range: $20 - $24**
**What's the Job?**
+ Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and e-mail in a courteous manner.
+ Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue.
+ Prioritize and schedule problems, escalating issues to the appropriately experienced technician when required.
+ Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting and perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level.
+ Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals.
**What's Needed?**
+ Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including Smartphones, Desktops, Laptops, Printers, and IP Phones.
+ Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server 2019.
+ Strong documentation skills and the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
+ Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
+ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
