Job Description

Join a dedicated team in the line painting division specializing in the manufacturing of custom line painting trucks for airports and roads. As a Heavy Industrial Assembler, you will play a crucial role in transforming a rolling chassis and cab into a fully functional truck equipped with all necessary components and accessories. Your tasks will include wiring, fabricating, and utilizing power tools to install parts such as compressors, tanks, pressure vessels, and spray guns, ensuring everything operates seamlessly from the cab controls.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in completing the assembly of trucks from rolling chassis to finished product.Install various components including compressors, tanks, and spray guns.Perform wiring and electrical installations to ensure functionality from cab controls.Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.Troubleshoot and trace electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.Essential SkillsAbility to read electrical blueprints/schematics.Experience in electrical automotive wiring and troubleshooting.Proficiency in using power tools for fabrication and installation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in automotive repair, machine building, or mechanical troubleshooting.Familiarity with pneumatic/hydraulic systems.Experience with controls wiring and panel wiring.Candidates with experience in the auto/diesel field are highly desirable.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a smaller, collaborative manufacturing shop with about 35 team members. The environment is hands-on and ideal for those comfortable in a shop/manufacturing setting. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime opportunities on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Muncy, Pennsylvania

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
