We are hiring for Heavy Equipment Operator here in Phoenix, AZ!** **Job Description** Join our team as a Heavy Equipment Operator, where you will play a crucial role in supporting construction projects at various landfill sites. Your expertise will ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery essential for our projects. **Responsibilities** + Support the construction at landfill sites by operating heavy equipment such as excavators and backhoes. + Monitor systems and gauges to ensure accurate data and proper functioning of machinery. + Perform calibrations, routine, and non-routine maintenance tasks. + Work safely on slopes, manage and move pipes securely, and strap pipes as necessary. + Contribute to the team beyond machinery operation and assist in various tasks. + Ensure timely arrival at job sites. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in using hand tools. + **5 Years of experience in operating heavy equipment such as excavators and backhoes.** + Ability to support the buildout of piping systems for gas collection at landfills. + Familiarity with monitoring meters and checking lasers for grading. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires travel to remote facilities.** **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
