Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Pay: $18-$28/hr (based on experience)
Shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm (10+ OVER TIME HOURS per week)

Join one of Charleston's largest civil site contractors as a Heavy Equipment Operator, where you will work on various civil site projects in the Greater Charleston Area. Enjoy the benefit of staying local, with minimal travel, and being part of a team that values collaboration and versatility.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, track hoes, excavators, and motor graders.Perform manual labor tasks including shoveling, trench work, and loading/unloading supplies.Assist with grading and civil construction tasks as needed.Collaborate with the team to ensure project completion.Adhere to safety standards and participate in creating a safe work environment.Essential Skills
5+ years of experience with heavy equipment operation including dozers, excavators, and graders.Experience in fine grading is highly preferred.Familiarity with GPS technology is preferred.Flexible availability, including potential overtime and weekends.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work outdoors on civil development sites, adapting to various weather conditions, from hot summers to wet and cold winters. Emphasis is placed on maintaining safety and efficiency in all tasks.
