**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking an entry level Equipment Operator and an Environmental Operator in the South Central Massachusetts area to join our Environmental Construction team. The role involves operating heavy equipment such as excavators and lulls to support our remediation division. The skilled candidate will handle hazardous waste, requiring certification for OSHA 40 prior to starting the job. The entry level candidate must posses a 2A1C hoisting license and have one year of experience in any field. Responsibilities include moving soil and ensuring safe and efficient equipment operation. Pay rates will range from $25 - $35 an hour. The more entry level candidate will receive $25 - $27 an hour. **Responsibilities** + Operate heavy equipment such as excavators and lulls to support remediation activities. + Handle hazardous waste safely and in compliance with regulations. + Move and manage soil as part of site remediation tasks. + Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment. + Comply with safety and environmental protocols. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience operating excavators and lulls. + Active 2A-1C hoisting license. + Experience in the remediation field. + Proficiency in heavy equipment operation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + OSHA 40 certification is required before starting. + Experience with front end loaders and general labor in construction settings is beneficial. **Why Work Here?** This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the company, with potential progression to a foreman role.
