Job Description

As an Environmental Technician, you will be responsible for providing essential cleaning, vacuuming, flushing, and blasting services across various industries, including food and beverage, pharmaceutical, paints and coatings, and non-hazardous chemicals/waste. You will work on new construction job sites and within company facilities, ensuring thorough clean-up efforts on site. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all safety procedures is required. The role involves operating both light and heavy equipment, including blasting equipment, vacuum trucks, and hoses, with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Work Environment

The work environment requires comfort with varying conditions, including hot, wet, or foul-smelling elements. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, gloves, safety vest, and hardhat. Work hours are typically Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call duties, and shifts range from 8 to 12 hours between 7 AM to 5 PM. The role involves working in a crew of 2-3, and travel may be required with per diem provided. A clean-shaven appearance may be necessary for respirator use.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
