Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

Operate a 30-ton Taylor Big Red forklift to transport pipes and materials in outdoor environments. Safely move suspended loads using chains, following proper rigging techniques and safety protocols. Learn to read and interpret work orders to accurately locate and move shipments. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on the forklift to ensure safe operation. Operate the forklift both in outdoor warehouse and outdoors, maintaining awareness of surroundings and ensuring safety around other employees. Assist with general labor tasks, including cleaning and organizing the warehouse.

Work Environment

Work in an outdoor warehouse for an outside manufacturer of 'man holes.' The environment is loud, dirty, and non-climate controlled. Expect to work over 10 hours of overtime per week with occasional mandatory Saturdays, notified with a three-day notice.

This is a Contract position based out of Summerville, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
