Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

We are seeking qualified heavy equipment operators with experience in operating a variety of machinery including skid steers, scrapers, track loaders, dozers, motor graders, excavators, and compactors. You will be working on mass grading projects located in both Omaha and Lincoln .

ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment such as skid steers, scrapers, track loaders, dozers, motor graders, excavators, and compactors.Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal functioning.Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks efficiently.Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as needed.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in operating heavy equipment, preferably in earth moving.Proficiency in operating dozers, excavators, and other heavy machinery.Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with various types of heavy equipment including skid steers, scrapers, track loaders, motor graders, and compactors.Ability to work collaboratively within a team.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is based in Omaha, NE, working on a mass grading project. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with half days on Saturday. Most machines are equipped with heating and cooling systems to ensure comfort while working.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
