**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Direct Hire** Job Description \#AeroJobsMEVTC We are seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Mechanic with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in Maine. The ideal candidate will have experience in inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing trucks and other heavy equipment, with a preference for those who have worked in dealerships handling diagnostics and preventative maintenance. The position operates on a Monday-Friday 1st shift schedule, with a $3.00 per hour shift differential available for night shifts. Responsibilities + Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair trucks and heavy equipment. + Perform diagnostics and preventative maintenance on a daily basis. + Utilize skills in diesel engine repair, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. + Possess the ability to drive trucks, supported by an active CDL for additional pay. Essential Skills + 2-3 years of experience as a mechanic. + Proficiency in diesel troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. + Experience with hydraulics and diesel engines, particularly Caterpillar equipment. + Possession of a CDL A license. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 1-2 years of in-shop mechanic work. + Experience with heavy equipment repair is advantageous. Why Work Here?
