Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic who is interested in working on projects involving the design and fabrication of equipment. This role offers the chance to work out of our Mechanics Truck, providing an opportunity to operate and build heavy equipment. If you have a passion for designing and building equipment, this could be the ideal role for you.

ResponsibilitiesService a range of equipment including forklifts, compressors, concrete pumps, and 3D printing machines.Design and build specialized equipment, including electronics and hydraulics.Perform welding, fabricating, and robotics tasks as needed.Essential SkillsExperience with heavy equipment repair and maintenance.Proficiency in welding, fabricating, and robotics.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.Ability to conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.Additional Skills & Qualificationsin structural, tunnel, and shaft engineering.Experience with masonry, wood, concrete, and steel design.Familiarity with geotechnical engineering and soil reports.Experience in working with underpinning, helicals, micropiles, and drilled piers.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work largely independently under the supervision of the owner while servicing heavy machinery. The role involves hands-on work with equipment and may require occasional site visits.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
