Job Description
As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our construction fleet. Your responsibilities will include inspecting engines and equipment, performing services and repairs, troubleshooting electric and hydraulic systems, and providing routine maintenance. Success in this role requires proven experience with special foundation heavy machinery, a solid understanding of hydraulic and electric systems, and the ability to troubleshoot issues on job sites.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary focus will be on the assembly and disassembly of machineryInspect heavy equipment to ensure proper performance.Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment.Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems.Adjust equipment and replace faulty parts.Repair damaged equipment parts.Clean, lubricate, and conduct routine services on heavy-duty machines.Perform major repair work when necessary.Consult with other mechanics.Report damaged or faulty equipment to management.Create parts lists needed to repair equipment.Essential SkillsProven experience as an equipment mechanic with skid steers and excavators.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Experience disassembling and assembling machinery.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with special foundation heavy machinery.Understanding of hydraulic and electric systems.Work Environment
The work environment involves extensive equipment repair work, focusing on machinery such as skid steers, forklifts, pumps, and excavators. While hydraulics are important, the primary focus will be on the assembly and disassembly of machinery. The role requires significant physical activity, including lifting and maneuvering heavy parts.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $78.00 - $78.00/hr.
