Pay: $28-50/Hour Depending on ExperienceJob Description
Work in a team environment utilizing your expertise in basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools, diagnostic software, cranes, and rigging equipment to troubleshoot and repair heavy construction equipment, including engines, generators, and other machinery. Collaborate with the team to remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and clean and inspect assemblies with minimal supervision. General knowledge of gas, diesel, electrical, electronic, mechanical, and components is preferred.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair heavy construction equipment, including engines and generators.Utilize basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools, diagnostic software, cranes, and rigging equipment.Work with the team to remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components.Clean and inspect assemblies with minimal supervision.Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.Diagnose and repair diesel engines, with experience in Caterpillar, Volvo, or other diesel engines preferred.Provide accurate quotes for repairs.Essential SkillsDiesel engine troubleshooting and repair experience.Mastery level knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools, diagnostic software, cranes, and rigging equipment.General knowledge of gas, diesel, electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and componentsWork EnvironmentMajority of positions are shop mechanic roles working on compression equipment, diesel engines, generators, and other heavy construction machinery.Job Type & Location

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $104000.00/yr.
