**Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic**
$31-$35 | Indianapolis, IN (Close to airport)
**Responsibilities**
+ 3–5 years of experience in heavy equipment service, preferably with heavy equipment machinery.
+ Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment.
+ Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems using diagnostic tools and software.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance services and inspections to minimize equipment downtime.
+ Accurately document service work, including parts used, labor hours, and service notes.
+ Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment status, repair recommendations, and timelines.
+ Maintain company-issued service truck, tools, and equipment in clean and working condition.
+ Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working in the field.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely parts ordering and job completion.
+ Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay current with equipment technology and service procedures.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
+ Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.

**Work Environment**
+ This full-time, 1st shift position operates from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in a shop environment resembling an industrial repair facility.
+ Technicians work around heavy equipment in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $65520.00 - $83200.00/yr.
