**Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic** $31-$35 | Indianapolis, IN (Close to airport) **Responsibilities** + 3–5 years of experience in heavy equipment service, preferably with heavy equipment machinery. + Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment. + Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems using diagnostic tools and software. + Conduct preventive maintenance services and inspections to minimize equipment downtime. + Accurately document service work, including parts used, labor hours, and service notes. + Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment status, repair recommendations, and timelines. + Maintain company-issued service truck, tools, and equipment in clean and working condition. + Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working in the field. + Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely parts ordering and job completion. + Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay current with equipment technology and service procedures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Valid driver’s license with clean driving record + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. + Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. + Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed. **Why Work Here?** + Enjoy working in a supportive environment where you can expect to earn six figures. + Benefit from a 5% monthly bonus after 90 days, a 7% field differential rate, boot allowance, tool reimbursement, and provided uniforms. + The average tenure is 9 years, reflecting a stable and rewarding career path.
