A manufacturing company in the Eastern Indianapolis region seeks dedicated Heat Treat Operators to join their team on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role involves operating various furnaces, managing product temperatures, and ensuring quality standards are met.
ResponsibilitiesOperate furnaces and adjust temperatures based on specific part runs.Push and pull boxes of product weighing up to 50 pounds.Load and unload products from the furnace repetitively.Use quality instruments to ensure parts meet quality specifications.Utilize shot blasting equipment to finish products after furnace treatment.Weigh and package products according to customer specifications.Ensure proper documentation of materials, including batch numbers.
Essential SkillsExperience as a General Production Worker or Furnace Operator.Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently.Capability to withstand heat and remain on feet for 8 to 12 hours.Minimum of 1 year per job in work history.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in material handling and heat treatment processes.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

Candidates must be comfortable working in challenging conditions.
