Role Purpose
As an Healthcare Systems (Policy & Access) Partner (HSP), you are an empowered leader dedicated to strengthening the Philippine healthcare system. You will move beyond traditional boundaries to identify shared purposes with government bodies, regulators, payers, and patient advocates. Your mission is to co-create sustainable solutions that dismantle barriers to care and deliver significantly better outcomes for patients and society.
What you will work on:
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Ecosystem Innovation: Drive transformative healthcare innovation by partnering with external stakeholders to create long-term value for the Philippine patient community.
Trusted Partnership: Act as the primary, trusted point of contact for high-level system stakeholders, managing complex relationships with transparency and integrity.
VACC Leadership: Embody the Visionary, Architect, Coach, Catalyst (VACC) model to influence both internal strategies and external healthcare movements.
Strategic Bridging: Connect Roche’s global expertise and internal networks with the local ecosystem to facilitate knowledge exchange and secure vital resources.
Policy & Access: Influence healthcare policy development and infrastructure building to improve local models of care and patient journeys.
System Shaping: Identify systemic roadblocks and co-develop solutions that enhance the efficiency and equity of the healthcare environment.
Knowledge Leadership: Stay at the forefront of healthcare trends, providing deep insights into local governance, funding, and regulatory processes.
Who you are:
Strategic System Thinker: You possess a \"systems thinking\" mindset with the ability to listen deeply to stakeholder needs and connect them to broader health goals.
Experienced Leader: You bring a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, high-stakes projects within the healthcare sector.
Healthcare Expert: You have a deep understanding of healthcare systems, governance, and the nuances of the Philippine regulatory and payer landscape.
Policy Advocate: You ideally bring experience in policy-making or public affairs, with the ability to navigate and influence legislative or institutional frameworks. Experience and/or ability to review and write healthcare policy related documents preferred.
Entrepreneurial & Self-Managed: You are a proactive self-starter who thrives in a networked environment and is comfortable with ambiguity.
Educational Background: You hold a University degree in Science, Economics, or Business. An MBA or advanced Life Science degree is highly regarded.
Bilingual Communicator: You are fluent in the local language and have a high proficiency in English to ensure seamless collaboration with our global teams.
Technology Savvy: You effectively leverage AI and other advanced technologies to drive efficiency and generate strategic insights.
This field-based role may require domestic travel and is open to candidates that have full eligibility to live and work in the Philippines.
