**Job Description:**
We are seeking a qualified, motivated leader to manage a team of engineers and Logistics system Analysts. This team drives continuous improvement across all facets of our business, with a strong focus on operational improvements at both facility and account levels.
As the Logistics Engineering Manager, you will ensure the team supports all operational areas through cost reduction initiatives, data analysis, labor management, and facility planning. This role requires accounting for product-specific requirements within our HLD business unit, including Hazmat and non-Hazmat products across ambient, cooler, freezer, cage, and controlled substance environments. You will lead impactful projects in a rapidly growing, life-saving industry, collaborating regularly with Building & Systems Engineering, Solutions Engineering, New Business Engineering, Post Solutions Engineering, Operations, IT, Finance, and Quality teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Prioritize development of both self and team.
+ Guide team on innovative, cost-effective solutions addressing operational inefficiencies while navigating regulatory and pharmaceutical challenges.
+ Oversee financial analysis to develop business cases and secure project funding.
+ Empower team to identify, quantify, and implement cost savings, continuous improvement, and innovation projects (layout, processes, automation).
+ Support WMS configuration for new and existing business and organic growth.
+ Monitor development of Work Measurement (WMT) standards for complex processes (e.g., vaccine pack-outs).
+ Verify data analysis for optimal storage environment, design, and layout (CRT, Cooler, Freezer, Ultra-low Temp, Cage, Vault, Hazmat, Hold).
+ Validate resource analysis for labor, staffing, and MHE based on volume and WMT standards.
+ Assess facility capacity and utilization trends for future planning.
+ Utilize AutoCAD to confirm optimized layouts for warehouse efficiency.
+ Track and communicate space availability across multiple storage environments.
**Qualifications:**
+ Strong time management skills; ability to thrive in fast-paced, complex environments.
+ Proven experience in managing, mentoring, and leading teams.
+ Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to guide process design across multiple work streams considering regulatory requirements.
+ Experience in estimates, forecasts, SQL, and WMS.
+ Solid understanding of supply chain concepts and ability to recommend improvements.
+ Familiarity with financial terms and calculations.
+ Background in Supply Chain, Warehouse, Logistics Industry (Industrial Engineering experience preferred).
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite and AutoCAD.
+ Experience with Pharma, Biopharma, Lab Diagnostics, Medical Devices, and Home Health Products.
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; or 5–10 years IE experience with relevant degree.
+ Languages: Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese is a must
