A premier AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Health Care Litigation practice, a specialized subgroup within the firm’s broader Consumer Financial Services group. This is an excellent opportunity for a California-barred litigator to join a team focused on complex health care disputes and regulatory matters.
Candidate Profile
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing. 2–4 years of substantive litigation experience in state and federal courts. Judicial clerkship experience strongly preferred. Experience with complex commercial or health care-related litigation, including ERISA benefits actions, payor-provider disputes, and regulatory compliance matters. Soft Skills: Exceptional research, writing, analytical, communication, and oral advocacy skills are a must.Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in complex health care litigation involving ERISA, consumer coverage disputes, and provider reimbursement issues. Handle payor-provider contract disputes and regulatory investigations. Conduct legal research, draft motions, manage discovery, and support trial strategy. Advise clients on compliance with state and federal health care regulations. Work closely with senior attorneys and clients across a range of industries, including insurance, managed care, and medical providers.

Compensation & Benefits
Highly Competitive Salary: $235,000 – $275,000, commensurate with experience.
