Healthcare & Employment Litigation Attorney

This role is ideal for motivated professionals with a proven track record in either first- or second-chair trial roles, particularly in healthcare and employment law.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead litigation processes from start to finish, with a primary focus on healthcare and employment cases. Draft and present motions, pleadings, and briefs; manage discovery requests and responses. Conduct and defend depositions, representing clients in various legal forums, including courts and arbitration. Develop and implement effective litigation strategies and defense tactics. Handle multiple cases concurrently, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to deadlines. Collaborate with and support related practice groups as required. Contribute to departmental process enhancements.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Bar admission in New Jersey is required; New York admission is advantageous or a willingness to obtain it. A minimum of 7 years of relevant legal experience, including taking and defending depositions and trial experience. Exceptional skills in communication, writing, negotiation, and analysis. Exhibit integrity, sound judgment, and professionalism. Team-oriented with strong leadership, mentoring, and relationship-building capabilities. Flexible, intellectually curious, and able to tackle complex legal and business issues.

Compensation & Benefits:

This role offers a competitive annual salary range of $170,000 - $225,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include eligibility for discretionary bonuses, merit-based pay increases, and origination credits.
