As a leader within our Healthcare team, you will lead complex performance improvement engagements, creating high-performing environments and ensuring successful client outcomes. If you’re passionate about driving impactful solutions and believe in the power of collaboration, Huron offers a rewarding path forward. **As the Healthcare Consulting Senior Director - Intelligent Care, you will:** ** **    + Lead advisory engagements to guide healthcareclientsin selecting, designing, and implementing innovative, technology-enabled care solutions that improve operational efficiency and clinical outcomes-including hospital command centers, virtual nursing/acute care delivery models, smart hospital design, clinical workflow automation, capacity management, care orchestration, and remote monitoring + Assess hospital and health system technology ecosystems (EHR, data platforms, communication systems, patient flow tools) toidentifyoptimization opportunities, lead rapid cycle gap analyses, and support clients by staying current on EHR functionalities and recommending strategies to maximize existing investments.  + Support the design and development of data and analytics strategies, including data fluency programs, dashboards, and reporting tools that align with operational leading practices and situational awareness. + Evaluate and map current-state clinical operations and digital infrastructure to future-state intelligent care capabilities, and develop actionable digital roadmapsleveragingscenario modeling, predictive analytics, automation, AI/ML, and data analytics to support real-time decision-making and workforce enablement. + Collaborate with clinical, IT, and operational stakeholders toidentifypain points and co-design solutions that improve throughput, reduce care variation, and unlock system-wide capacity.  + Stay abreast of emerging technologies and market trends in intelligent care, advising clients on scalable innovations that enhance safety, quality, and clinician experience.  + Deliver compelling, insight-driven presentations and reports to executive and board-level audiences, translating complex digital strategies into tangible business and clinical outcomes.  + Quantify the financial investment and return on investment (ROI) of intelligent care initiatives by modeling costs, benefits, and operational impact across areas such as labor optimization, length of stay reduction, avoided capital spend, and care team efficiency  + Serve as the single accountable leader in the design and delivery of complex performance improvement engagements, creating collaborative, high-performing environments and managing engagement-wide economics, including budgets, revenue forecasting, margins, invoicing, and billing. + Apply analytical and critical thinking skills to quantify benefits,identifyrisks, and develop solutions for performance improvement initiatives, while communicating effectively to understand client challenges, create customized solutions, and manage expectations. + Build strong executive-level relationships, lead change processes, andidentifynew business opportunities,leveragingHuron's capabilities to meet clientobjectives.  **Requirements:** **   ** ** ** + Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of progressive healthcare management consulting experience. A combination of consulting and senior leadership roles within provider organizations may be considered, but strong healthcare consulting experience is essential.Experience should include: + Extensive healthcare operations experience directing a large hospital department and / or team-based projects with a focus on process engineering / performance improvement initiatives andbroad-based change management optimization  + Expertisein driving operational change byleveragingintelligent care solutions (e.g., virtual nursing / acute care delivery models, smart hospital design, and clinical workflow automation) tooptimizeoperations in the healthcare setting. + Hands on familiarity with hospital command center operations, care coordination models, or centralized operational oversight structures. + Demonstrated ability to bridge clinical workflows with digital enablement, ensuring operational, clinical, and technical alignment. + Experience working withEHRsystems, interoperability standards, and vendor ecosystems to support integrated clinical operations. + Strong technical and analytical fluency, including systems thinking,event drivenworkflow design, and the ability to translate regulatory or workflow requirements into actionable operational solutions. Provenability to manage complex healthcare consulting engagements, balancing client relationship management, delivery oversight, and strategic support for growth initiatives across provider and payer organizations. + Ability tooperateeffectively in complex, matrixed healthcare environments, navigating ambiguity and aligning multiple stakeholder groups across clinical, digital, and operational domains. + Demonstrated strength in drivingcross functionalaccountability, managing timelines, and leading multistakeholder initiatives inhigh complexitysettings + The ability to travel based on client, enterprise, or project needs is an essential function of this role. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $268,750 - $350,750. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
