HSE programs will be well implemented and meet the relevant standards and regulations in the Plant. That means you will ensure that facilities provided are well maintained, regulation/procedure are in place and implemented, hazards/aspects assessments are conducted, the accident both caused by unsafe acts and conditions are reduced and energy and waste are driven down.
How you will contribute
Implement Company Health, Safety & Environmental management systems, programs and processes and adapt them to local requirements
Ensure compliance of Kaunas Plant operations with legal HSE requirements
Provide leadership and administration to the overall HSE programs by developing an annual plan, and actively driving it
Set HSE plant targets with Kaunas Plant Leaders, monitor KPI’s, proactively intervene if plans or results are not on track
Conduct or oversee investigations into high gravity incidents and ensures the quality and outcomes of investigations continuously improve
Plan/Budget/Control annual capital budget for HSE within Kaunas plant and ensure execution
Drive continuous improvement in the HSE function and company programs/initiatives
Provide HSE expertise for the plants all new projects and change management activities
Ensure appropriate risk assessments process and follow-ups implementation to minimize or eliminate accidents
Review performance in HSE and facilitate implementation of corrective and preventative actions where required
Ensure training and coaching are taking place to drive a safety culture and to ensure HSE standards and awareness are well understood throughout the plant organization
Direct the maintenance and inspection of fire protection systems
Role is responsible for managing plant HSE team and their development
What you will bring
Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Environment or Health&Safety or other relevant field
3 years of experience in HSE specialist role; managerial experience as an asset
Knowledge of HSE management systems
Knowledge (or willingness to learn) of the local HSE legislation in Lithuania
Technical functional knowledge/experience in HSE as an asset
Fluent Lithuanian and at least A2 English or Fluent English and at least A1 Lithuanian
Communication and training skills
Capability of priority setting and ability to resolve conflict in progressive manner
Salary range: from 5000 EUR gross/ month
