Job Responsibilities:

About the Role

The Good For You program is a workplace wellness program for Magna International Inc., located in Aurora, Ontario. The purpose of the Good For You program is to provide/coordinate health and wellness education, health screening, and health activities within Magna's manufacturing facilities in Canada and the United States. This program provides newsletters, and delivers health seminars, health fairs, and health screenings to all interested employees on-site at their workplaces.

Your Responsibilities

Assist with the development and implementation of a workplace mental health program, consistent with the Psychological Health and Safety Standard in Canada.

Complete a psychological safety needs assessment and assess current company policies to identify areas for improvement.

Assist with the creation and roll out of mental health training programs and create mental health educational resources appropriate for diverse populations in Canada and globally.

Prepare marketing materials for the Good For You program website and Good For You Wednesday emails.

Assist Health Promotion Coordinators with lunch and learn sessions. Some shift work and travel may be required.

Perform other duties, as assigned by the Health Promotion Manager.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient with Canva and Microsoft Office.

Detail‑oriented team player with a positive, self‑starting work style.


Your preferred qualifications

The student must be registered in a registered health sciences co-op degree program related to mental health studies, health promotion, public health, organizational psychology, or related field.

Work Environment

Standard office environment.

Compensation

This co-op position offers an hourly wage of $20.00.
