**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As a Clerk, you will be the welcoming face and organizational hub of our clinic, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every patient.
Every day, you will expertly manage patient registration and scheduling, efficiently process patient flow, address billing inquiries, and provide essential clerical support. You'll maintain strict confidentiality, handle financial transactions securely, and remain vigilant for any patient needs, all while contributing to a smooth, on-schedule operation.
To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional organizational skills, a customer-centric approach, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive ability to manage a fast-paced environment while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and efficiency.
+ Works with new parents to obtain information for the birth certificate.
+ Reviews charts to obtain statistical information for the birth worksheet.
+ Abstracts newborn information using EBC software to generate a birth certificate. Downloads the information for the submission to the state.
+ Picks up daily discharges from the floors and all loose filing from the appropriate departments on a daily basis.
+ Makes up all admission folders and places charts of discharges patients into folders.
+ Locates discharges to shelves in Chartfact and places discharges onto shelves in terminal digit order by date of discharge.
**Job Requirements**
**Minimum:**
+ High School/GED and one (1) year experience in medical records, clerical, office or related field.
+ Working knowledge of computer applications.

**Pay Range**
$24.39 - $24.39 /hour
