Manufacturing & Supply Chain (MSC) plays a vital role in delivering life-saving therapies globally within Care Enablement. With over 35 manufacturing sites and 23 distribution centers, MSC ensures the reliable production and distribution of high-quality devices for hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and acute care—reaching patients in approximately 150 countries.
The team oversees the full supply chain from manufacturing to delivery, focusing on operational excellence, product availability, and continuous improvement to meet the evolving needs of patients and healthcare providers. Join our passionate team and help shape healthcare worldwide!
We are looking for an experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead all local supply chain and logistics operations in the Prague area. Working within the Medical Devices / Pharmaceuticals sector, you will oversee Warehouse Management, Transportation, Demand Planning, Inventory, and Clinic Replenishment.
You will drive operational excellence, cost optimisation, compliance, and team development while managing 3PL partners, key supply chain KPIs, and local/global improvement projects. The role also includes full ownership of the logistics budget, leadership of the S&OP process, and ensuring strict adherence to GDP, Quality, and OH&S standards.
Your Responsibilities:
+ Lead all local Supply Chain and Logistics activities, including warehousing, transport, demand planning and clinic replenishment
+ Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, service levels and cost performance
+ Manage 3PL partners, ensuring strong performance and effective collaboration
+ Deliver local supply chain projects focused on process, capability and cost optimization
+ Review and optimize inventory levels and stock management
+ Own local Supply Chain KPIs and ensure ongoing performance improvement
+ Manage and optimize the local Logistics budget
+ Lead the monthly S&OP process
+ Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Finance on forecasts and budget planning
+ Ensure compliance with GDP, Quality and all relevant regulations
+ Build a strong, collaborative logistics team culture
+ Oversee adherence to Occupational Health & Safety standards
+ Represent the company with local logistics and regulatory authorities
+ Coordinate with global Supply Chain teams and support global projects
Your Profile:
+ Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or related field
+ 5+ years of experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical logistics
+ Fluent/native Czech and fluent English
+ Strong communicator with intercultural competence and confident leadership
+ Highly organized, analytical and results‑driven
+ Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, regulated environment
+ SAP APO experience is a plus
+ Advanced Excel skills
