Role and Responsibilities
This Head of Retail Finance and Business Planning will be accountable for all Business Planning across SES, MX Retail and CE Retail Operations. The purpose of this role is to lead a specialized team of professionals across multiple functional areas of Financial Planning and Analysis, Supplier Management, Commercial Agreements, Investments & Incentives, and Direct-to-Consumer Financial Management. This position will also be responsible for developing and implementing the core components of a strategic Retail Finance & Business Planning Department. All teams will be anchored on the goal of maximizing revenue, profit, and market share.
Key Responsibilities:
P&L Ownership: Lead and manage the full $60M+ retail sales P&L for both DTC and Retail, driving strategic finance strategy, execution, and performance management across all business levels.Strategic Planning: Deliver monthly and annual results and develop strategic and financial plans to position the business for sustained growth.Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing team, partnering closely with Sales Finance, Corp Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Overheads across both operating (MX/HE/DA) companies. Foster a culture of accountability, partnership, collaboration, Integrity continuous improvement, and high performance.Cross-Functional & Group Partnership: Collaborate with external Teams (ISO, Procurement, Data) to set targets, deliver financial commitments, align on reporting, and evaluate strategic initiatives for (ROI) financial viability.Performance Finance Reviews: Own and lead key business reviews, including MDF, SES, OPEX performance reviews, quarterly business reviews, and the annual operating plan process.FP&A Community Building: Build a strong FP&A community across both operating companies, championing performance and in-year target delivery.Business Partnering & Insight: Provide strategic business partnering and financial insight to support business cases (e.g., Innovation, Transformations, Supply Chain, Strategic Investments) and evaluate in-flight initiatives against approved business cases, ensuring learnings are recycled into future planning.Harmonization: Lead the harmonization of reporting, tracking, and overall performance management processes across MX/HE/DA, ensuring consistency, transparency, and actionable insights.Responsibility for reviewing and providing first line approval of contracts in advance of the Sr. Vice President, Retail.Oversee the Retail team procurement capability including RFPs, bid evaluations, negotiations and vendor selectionOversee all contracts (MSA, LSA, SOWs, Term Sheets etc.) related to purchasing as well as Retail customer agreementsOversee Quarterly Business Reviews with preferred vendor partnersTalent Development: Design and launch programs to attract and develop top finance talent, and ongoing team capability building.Culture & Brand: Build personal and team brand across diverse business units and locations, acting as a visible, influential leader within the organization.Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
16+ years of progressive experience in commercial strategy, FP&A, or business leadership roles. Demonstrated success in end-to-end P&L management and delivering commercial results on a scale.Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and analysis Strong track record of business partnering with global and local teams across multiple functions (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, etc.).Experience designing and implementing incentive programs (MBO) and building high performing teams.Proven ability to harmonize and standardize reporting and performance management across multiple business units.Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.Strategic thinker with strong analytical, financial modeling, and leadership skills.Advanced proficiency in financial systems, reporting tools, and data analytics (e.g., Power BI, Anaplan, SAP).Bachelor’s degree required Finance/Accounting; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Contagious commitment, competitive spirit, and a growth mindset.Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.#LI-RL2

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $267,000 and $329,500. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
