Do you have excessive commercial, market and economic understanding and experience working with large real estate clients and are you motivated to work in an international, dynamic, fast-growing, and diverse organisation? We are seeking a highly motivated mid-senior profile to drive the growth of our evolving Research team in Oslo.
This role is a senior appointment within our Nordic business. Key deliverables for this role would be to deliver best-in-class in-depth analyses and market research to CBRE’s investor and occupier clients, which consist of some of the world’s largest institutions and corporates, while also being the main thought leader for CBRE in Norway and wider Nordic business and having the opportunity to speak in several seminars and client events per year. All of this will happen in close collaboration with our local as well as wider European teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
The Head of Research’s key responsibilities are:
+ Client and stakeholder engagement, you will increase the visibility of CBRE in the media and have close interaction with the local press to get the CBRE Research house view and thought leadership to a wider audience;
+ Data collection, distribution, and analysis at CBRE in Norway,
+ Working closely with the local business line leaders and the Nordic and wider European research leadership to promote and scale our proprietary research consulting and data sales in the Norwegian market while supervising the execution of expert and consulting missions;
+ Developing and managing the company's research agendas to enable our clients to make informed decisions in the real estate sector;
+ Identifying topics and research priorities based on current market trends, client needs and business goals;
+ Coordinating and monitoring both national and international research projects, including resource allocation, time management and quality assurance, as well as analyzing data and information from various sources; and
+ Working with internal teams and external partners, you will develop innovative solutions and identify opportunities in the real estate market.
**Requirements**
We would like the candidate to match at least some of the following points:
+ At least 6 years of professional experience;
+ Preferably some experience in a responsible position and experience in leading junior employees;
+ Completed Master's degree in Economics/Finance or equivalent;
+ Interest in the real estate market, enjoyment of trend topics related to real estate, urban development and social trends;
+ Initiative and willingness to develop new ideas and innovations;
+ Willingness to network within the company and to communicate with our customer base and in the industry;
+ High degree of accuracy;
+ Significant flexibility, organizational talent and hands-on mentality;
+ Strong user knowledge in MS Office and preferably some knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI);
+ Affinity for data and processes; and
+ Fluency in Norwegian and English.
