You lead a team of procurement specialists for a specific business unit or region and serve as the single point of contact in procurement for local business leaders. In this role, you also manage interactions between business units or spend areas and stakeholders at the local level, collaborate with global/regional spend areas, business unit leads and across manufacturing, supply chain and commercial business stakeholders, and ensure the local implementation of regional or global projects.
**How you will contribute**
As the single point of contact, you will support the interactions between business units or spend areas, business unit stakeholders and specific project teams. In addition, you will deliver on the procurement process through effective management of procurement specialists;, take the lead in problem solving for supply and service issues, own the full sourcing activity for a local spend in partnership with regional sourcing teams, ensure regulatory compliance for all processes in scope, and manage local implementation—including service delivery, productivity and cash mobilization—of regional or global projects and agreements.

**More about this role**
The Procurement lead has managerial responsibility for end-to-end procurement for Egypt
Responsible for cost and cash as well as execution of day-to-day operational procurement activities to ensure all purchase requirements for business are served with the lowest possible cost, at the right quality and delivery timings while complying with Mondelez global procurement policy.
The Procurement Lead will act as a point of contact towards the internal customer for Procurement related questions, support local purchasing requests in collaboration with the Spend Area management organization, to drive productivity and manage efficient contracts implementation and support alignment on site; related to one or several sites. Will work with business, end users, or Master Shoppers in given countries acting as valued and trusted Business Partner.
Works with global or regional Sourcing teams to implement contracts locally and to provide local specifics on demand or requirements. Works with suppliers as needed and partners with the Regional Procurement teams to enable spot purchases, create SAP contracts for raw and packaging materials. Provides support to and coaches Master Shoppers and procurement specialists, as needed. Ensures other regulatory compliance for all processes in scope.

**Project Management responsibilities:** Business Delivery & Continuity - Be the face of procurement team and provide procurement input or support in New Product development, Trials and Innovations, and new supplier qualifications
**Stakeholder Management** : Problem solve to ensure raw materials are supplied into factories at the right price, time, quantity and quality. / Build up solid information sharing and collaboration routines with local stakeholders to facilitate effective cross-functional interactions for direct/indirect materials.
**Supply issue resolution:** identify the root cause of supply issues and align with respective stakeholders on the solution./ Assist to fast track the options and lease with stakeholders to get approvals needed Act as escalation point for local business users or Master Shoppers related issues in the plant and drive resolution in line with regional and global Procurement policies
**Supplier performance Monitoring.** Support in supplier performance monitoring, support monthly Raw & Pack Material Inventory, Support Quality Notifications review process with supplier, supplier quality and plant team
**Strategic/Spot Buy, CMAAS Support responsibilities:** provide input on local spend situation and Spend Area practices. Gather local internal customers’ requirements. Identify with stakeholders any local legal requirements that necessitate an adaptation of the contract. And Support local supplier qualification assessment.
**Lead Procurement Scorecard Delivery:** deliver KPIs for productivity, Cash, Service, Quality
**Education / Certifications:**
Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
**Job specific requirements:**
+ Minimum 12 years procurement experience
+ +3 years Managerial experience
+ Fluency in Arabic & English
+ Bachelor Degree in relevant field of study
+ Proficiency in MS Office
