We are looking for a Senior executive to lead Prime Video's business strategy and drive P&L ownership for one of our largest and fastest-growing streaming territory. As the leader for Prime Video's business in Brazil, you'll shape the entertainment experience for millions of customers while managing a multi-million dollar P&L across SVOD, Channels, TVOD, and advertising.

This role offers the unique opportunity to build long-term strategy, drive operational excellence, and directly influence Prime Video's success in one of Latin America's most dynamic markets.

You will be the inspiring leader that will obsess every day about Prime Video in Brazil, putting yourself in the shoes of local customers. You will own the full P&L, set strategic direction through short and long term annual planning cycles, and serve as the primary business leader interfacing with other Prime Video central functions like Finance, Marketing, Marketplace, CAM, Public Policy, Legal, PR & Comms, Product, Studios, as well as other Amazon business in the country, such as Stores, Prime, Amazon Advertising, Amazon Music, Devices among others.


Key job responsibilities
Business Strategy & P&L Ownership:
- Own and drive the complete P&L for Prime Video Brazil, including SVOD, Prime Video Channels, TVOD, and Advertising revenue streams
- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategy translating global Prime Video International objectives into locally relevant plans that deliver long-term growth, engagement, and profitability
- Lead OP1, OP2, and 3-year financial planning cycles, setting ambitious yet achievable goals for net member balance growth, engagement metrics, and revenue targets
- Maintain real-time understanding of business performance through robust mechanisms and metrics, proactively identifying and root-causing defects to drive continuous improvement

Programming & Content Strategy:
- Build and optimize programming plans that maximize customer engagement and efficient use of content investments
- Partner with Content Acquisition Managers (CAMs) to define content needs and set goals for central teams to deliver against regional business priorities
- Oversee programming calendars, ensuring strategic content launches align with business objectives and customer demand
- Greenlight local original content investments in partnership with Amazon MGM Studios, balancing creative ambition with financial discipline
- Approve Sports property investments in partnership with central Sports CAMs, aiming to delight sports fans in the country while driving profitable growth

Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as primary interface with Stores, Prime, Fuse, 3P Device Partnerships, Ads, Public Policy, Legal, AWS, Devices and Music teams for all Brazil-related initiatives
- Partner with Prime team to drive pricing and plan offer decisions within Brazil, optimizing for member acquisition, retention, and lifetime value
- Act as the most senior country leader for Regulatory, Public Policy, and Government Relations matters

Operational Excellence & Decision Velocity:
- Demonstrate granular understanding of relationships between core inputs and outputs for Prime Video across all business dimensions
- Ensure decisions occur quickly with limited churn through clear frameworks, data-driven insights, and strong cross-functional alignment
- Maintain sufficient processes and mechanisms to track real-time performance, identifying risks and opportunities proactively
- Serve as the go-to expert on Prime Video Brazil performance in internal and external forums

Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence:
- Maintain multi-year outlook on risks and opportunities for Prime Video in Brazil, considering competitive dynamics, regulatory environment, and evolving customer preferences
- Proactively advocate for Prime Video's strategic direction, adjusting approach based on Brazil-specific dynamics and Brazilian customer insights
- Define regional/local budget requirements and KPIs, working closely with Finance partners to ensure accurate forecasting and resource allocation
