Head of Platform Engineering
Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Head of Platform Engineering to join their team. As a Head of Platform Engineering, you will be part of the technology department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical / engineering skills as well as leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Head of Platform Engineering **Location: Jersey City, NJ OR White Plains, NY - HYBRID** **Pay Range: $235,000 - $250,000 annual salary** **What's the Job?** + Lead a core team of software engineers to develop and implement advanced analytics solutions, including AI, to enhance decision-making processes. + Drive the delivery and enhancement of engineering platforms, including AI PaaS and SaaS platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards. + Evolve and maintain architecture governance frameworks to ensure alignment with business goals and technology strategies. + Set and deliver the evolving enterprise platform technical strategy, communicating future vision roadmaps for AI and enterprise platforms. + Develop a culture and environment where experts thrive, overseeing the development of competency models and training programs. **What's Needed?** + **15+ years of experience in IT with a focus on Share platforms, PaaS and IaaS integration, SaaS service platforms** , as well as more recently, AI. + 10+ years of experience in leading development and software development teams for enterprise-scale platforms.
