Head of Enterprise Sales
Head of Enterprise Sales Job Description: Sage is building a global Enterprise Sales Centre of Excellence (CoE) to scale our Embedded Services business across Tier-1 banks, fintechs, and major SaaS platforms. As Head of Global Embedded Sales, you’ll design, lead, and operationalise this CoE—owning the strategy, execution model, and commercial governance that turn our embedded proposition into a predictable, repeatable enterprise sales engine. You’ll report to the SVP, Fintech & Embedded Services and combine strategic leadership with direct ownership of our most complex, high‑value platform deals. Key Responsibilities: What You’ll Own 1. Enterprise Sales Strategy & Operating Model - Build and execute the global enterprise sales model, including segmentation, coverage, qualification standards, and winning playbooks. - Establish governance, compliance, and performance frameworks to ensure consistent, elite execution across all regions. - Define the operating rhythm that connects Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Operations to move strategic deals from concept to global rollout. 2. Tier‑1 Deal Leadership - Personally lead negotiations and close our largest, most complex embedded platform partnerships. - Own executive‑level and board‑level relationships to accelerate deal cycles and expand long‑term commercial value. - Ensure deal structures are commercially strong, technically viable, compliant, and aligned to long‑term growth economics. 3. Commercial Discipline & Performance Management - Own the global enterprise pipeline and forecast accuracy. - Partner with Finance and Product to set pricing, guardrails, and commercial frameworks that enable scalable growth without margin erosion. - Drive operational excellence through rigorous performance metrics—conversion rates, win rates, cycle time, and Embedded ARR expansion. 4. Leadership, Team Building & Influence - Build, mentor, and scale a high‑performing global enterprise sales organisation. - Drive a culture of accountability, resilience, and high performance. - Influence and align regional sales leaders and cross‑functional teams to a unified global strategy. What You’ll Bring - Proven experience leading global enterprise sales organisations, including building operating models, segmentation, and scalable sales playbooks. - Track record of closing complex, high‑value strategic partnerships with Tier‑1 banks, fintechs, or large SaaS platforms. - Executive‑level negotiation and relationship‑management capability, including board‑level engagement. - Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience owning global pipeline accuracy, pricing frameworks, and commercial governance. - Ability to orchestrate cross‑functional collaboration across Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Operations. - Experience driving performance through metrics, such as win rates, cycle time, and ARR growth. - Leadership capability to build, coach, and scale a high‑performing global team, fostering a culture of resilience and accountability. - Influencing skills to align regional sales leaders and stakeholders to a unified global strategy.
