As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role. **Line of Business:** TD Wealth **Job Description:** The Head of Distribution, US Wealth leads a function of consolidated strategic, sales and support functions across all segments and channels of the Wealth business, ensuring delivery of an effective, efficient and consistent client and employee experience. Areas of focus would include but not be limited to: Overall Fiduciary and Principal responsibilities, Sales Leadership, Partnership Programs, People Acquisition and Development, Risk Management and Credit Management. **Depth & Scope:** + Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required + Leads Field Leadership Teams to develop and implement high performance sales strategy across the Wealth business creating an integrated, holistic approach to sales and client experience leading to successful client outcomes, business growth, and Net Asset Growth + Leads overall execution of Partnership with AMCB Retail and Commercial leadership as well as with other potential partners such as TD Securities, and TD Wealth Canada + Provides accurate, organized and efficient operational support through data management, and by collecting and tracking data, and researching information, etc. to ensure effective operations of the business supported + Assesses risks and recommends changes to the business based on information from the various control functions + Works with business unit management/partners to develop and implement proactive strategies, tactics and programs to effectively manage regulatory oversight and governance issues + Develops and implements sales and client experience training programs and tools, leads the client resolution process for any client or colleague complaint + Conducts regularly scheduled Market reviews, analyzing staffing, partnerships, sales revenue, and NAG as well as responding to any identified issues and recognizing success. + Responsible for Field Leadership and execution of the Wealth credit strategy including policy and process, oversees credit activities and the underwriting of large accounts + Leads the execution of Wealth's Practice Management mandate, including the development of strategy and practice around Advisor effectiveness, retention, coordinating with other TDBG/Wealth management business and functional areas + Provides functional/business level communications to ensure messages to stakeholders and/or employees are consistent, appropriate and aligned to business strategies and executive management direction + Designs and implements organizational strategy, structure and processes to ensure efficient, profitable growth + Demonstrates effective change management leadership and takes a lead role in facilitating and supporting the resolution of any conflicting priorities between the business and other areas + Represents the business on all Risk Management, Compliance, AML and Audit related initiatives, reviews and in implementing/executing governance and controls related plans and requirements + Keeps up to date on regulatory issues affecting the governance and control of the business + Develops and implements relevant sales force management and reporting tools and metrics; Provides analysis and reporting of progress, pipeline and strategy approach; Integrates Wealth with RSSG **Education & Experience:** + 4 year degree and progressive work experience. + MBA preferred + 15+ years Must have extensive Wealth Management leadership experience with a proven track record + FINRA Series 7, 24 (or equivalent – Series 9, 10) and 65 (or equivalent) + In-depth knowledge of TD Wealth and each of the risk disciplines, as well as systems and processes used in TD Wealth, along with general knowledge of IT process, IT implementation, project management, administrative policies and guidelines, compliance policies and guidelines, internal controls and operational procedures + In-depth knowledge of RIA and B/D Operations, investment products, and ability to strategically think about pricing, positioning, and other marketing related issues. + Excellent negotiation skills and general business acumen are essential + In-depth knowledge of financial industry trends and ability to ensure that the firm's evolving product platform meets Client, Firm, and Field Personnel needs + Extensive understanding of current compliance and regulatory issues related to US Securities and financial markets (OCC, SEC, FINRA, and State Securities Regulators) + Expert human relations skills in working with other business units, departments, industry groups and external organizations + Success serving as a liaison with both internal and external partners and constituents + Seasoned executive with a proven track record for effective leadership at a top-tier financial organization + Excellent communications, platform management skills **OCC:** + This position is with a FINRA member, broker and/or dealer and is subject to the requirements of FINRA and Securities Laws.
