Join our dynamic team today and find a rewarding career with a company that values you and all you bring to the table. **About Your Role:** As a HAZMAT Associate at Dollar Tree’s Distribution Center, you will perform general and preventive hazardous material maintenance on shift by filtering the trash at the compactor, handling hazard material spills in the building and processing the hazard waste at the accumulation station. Load and unload trailers, move merchandise from area to area, and use conveyors and forklift equipment throughout Distribution Center, as required. + Must have prior experience in floor and carpet care, and the chemicals used in cleaning these areas. + Must have knowledge of the equipment used in the cleaning of these areas (i.e.scrubber, polisher, carpet cleaner). + Other housekeeping duties will berequired(i.e.cleaning of tables, bathrooms, mods, etc.) + Spill recovery specialist. + Process all hazardous waste from the compactor area back to theaccumulationstation barrels. + Responsible for offline recovery. + Record all damagesinthe system. + In charge of recovering five hazardous waste assessmentstationsmerge, shipping, dock, mod 1, mod 2, and mod 3.
