Job Description

As a Hayu Marketing intern, you will have a supporting role in delivering marketing activities across brand, PR, events, influencers and partnerships. You will also work in collaboration with the wider Hayu marketing team functions such as digital and social plus gain exposure to the NBCU business units in the Toronto office. This role will expose you to a broad range of tasks from creating post campaign reports to helping with influencer activities, updating press lists, press releases, presentation creation and most importantly, assisting in event planning and execution.

In this role, you will learn:

How marketing campaigns go from concept to creation to live in marketHow SVOD services are data driven and how insights inform decisionsHow to influence our target audience and drive awareness in market through various channelsHow to work in a fast paced, entertainment brand that is ambitious and innovative

This internship will give you a deep understanding of our reality dedicated SVOD service, a good exposure to multiple channels and layers of the marketing and PR function plus develop your data analysis skill with a fast-paced digital platform.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Must be in pursuit of a secondary degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree statusCumulative GPA of 3.0 or aboveMust be authorized to work in Canada without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversalMust be 19 years or olderMust be available to work 40 hours a week and commit to a 16-week term, 4-days a week in office

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
