Harness Technician

Our client, a leader in the electrical assembly industry, is seeking a Harness Technician to join their team. As a Harness Technician, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly of cable harnesses and electrical assemblies. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a collaborative nature which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Harness Technician
**Location:** Austin, TX
**Pay Range: $20-$25**
**Shift:** 8:00 am - 6:30 pm (Tuesday to Friday) (Friday - Monday)
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist in the assembly and production of cable harnesses and electrical assemblies.
+ Perform electrical assembly of components and systems according to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
+ Utilize hand tools to assemble and install electrical components to cable harnesses with connectors.
+ Conduct functional testing of assembled components and systems to ensure proper operation.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in assemblies and systems, implementing solutions to prevent future failures.
**What's Needed?**
+ Proven hands-on skills and electrical aptitude.
+ Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
+ Familiarity with through-hole soldering, surface mount soldering, and solder splicing.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Basic computer skills and good written communication.
